How can I turn Anti Virus protection on for windows? it keeps bugging me about not having it on, but I don't know how to turn it on.
Windows question.?vista
if you go yo control pannel and then internet settings it should be in there
Windows question.?antispyware
hog wash you dont know what your talking about!
It isnt in internet settings.
go to start then help and support then search virus???? then go to settings. If it is a software installed on the computer then open the program up and find the settings tab then it should give an option to switch it on and off or it could be on the main page.
If that doesnt work then try when the box pops up warning you about switching it on and off try clicking the box sometimes it takes you streight to the destination to switch it on and off. or you can try browsing all the options in control panel if im wrong about all this then good luck trying to find it.
if indeed you do have anti virus software installed there is no need for windows to monitor it for you so
just go into control panel and then security centre and then in options tell it not too monitor it for you
'Start'%26gt; 'Control Panel'%26gt; 'Security'%26gt; 'Security Center' and click 'Malware protection', click the button under 'Virus protection or Spyware and other malware protection' and choose 'Show me my available options'.
