Should the NHL change the voting system?

Sidney Crosby is a great player, but really, does he deserve triple the votes of Ilya Kovalchuk??? Kovalchuk has more points and goals at this point than Crosby, and Crosby has triple the votes. It makes nooooo sense, and Kovalchuk is SIXTH. The player in the NHL who leads the league in goals and 4th in points is in sixth place. I say let the fans vote for one of the back lines, let the starting lineup speak for itself.

My Starting Lineup in the east:

LW: Ilya Kovalchuk

C: Vincent Lecavalier

RW: Daniel Alfredsson

D: Joseph Corvo

D: Sergei Gonchar

West

LW: Henrik Zetterberg

C: Pavel Datsyuk

RW: Jarome Iginla

D: Sergei Zubov

D: Niklas Lidstrom

The voting is a joke. Look, Jonathan Cheechoo is 6th among Western Conference forwards and has 9 points. That is pathetic. All that proves is that San Jose has lots of fans that vote, which happens every year. Good job San Jose fans, bad job league. Report It

For what it's worth, I think they should go back to the old system- ballots at the games and no voting outside of games. that way teams in huge markets wouldn't be able to get so many votes.
