I am using kaspersky internet security on my pc.Its a paid product and it is working good. However just for extra precaution i downloaded AVG free antivirus today.Surprisingly i liked the way it works and the user interface and all other features. So now i have 2 programes running and my security centre says kaspersky firewall is on and virus protection says windows found 2 programes and atleast one of em is updated and working fine.
Now saying that i also know that running 2 antivirus programes in no good.
So tell me what should i do? Uninstall avg and keep kaspersky or keep both of em.

I've been involved in several tests involving av platforms. The Kaspersky and Eset always, and I mean always, come out on top. Their definitions are always the freshest and they use the least amount of resources. You should only have one av platform running as multiple platforms will interfere with each other. The AVG, while it does 'look' good has always finished last or next to in terms of av protection. I would delete the AVG as soon as possible.

im not an expert, but, i suggest keeping them both, as long as they arent conflicting w/ each other. just ignore the ''security centre'' as it does nothing as long as you have other antivirus running.
